The Western Front Today - Bus House Cemetery

Bus House cemetery, located near the village of Voormezeele in the Ypres Salient, was named after a nearby estaminet which itself derived its name on account of a London bus which had broken down in No Man's Land in 1914.

The cemetery contains 134 burials: 109 U.K., 10 Australian, 2 Canadian, 1 British West Indies plus a further 12 unknown.

Two Second World War burials are also contained within the cemetery.
