The Western Front Today - Hawthorn Ridge Cemetery No. 2
Hawthorn Ridge Cemetery No. 2 is situated within the Newfoundland Beaumont-Hamel Memorial Park.
The cemetery contains 214 burials of men from the 29th Division who fell during the opening day of the Somme Offensive, 1 July 1916.
The 51st Division Monument is sited nearby, as is 'Y' Ravine cemetery and Hunter's Cemetery.
